Registration is extended for training in Kansas City, Missouri. Limited space is available.
The Office of Head Start is pleased to announce its 2006 Head Start National Reporting System Training and Certification of Replacement Trainers, which will take place in three cities from July to August. The training provides opportunities for Head Start programs to build or restore internal capacity for implementing the coming and future years of Head Start National Reporting System (NRS) child assessments and/or to build capacity for bilingual/Spanish assessments. These sessions will also include training on the Computer Based Reporting System (CBRS). Limited training opportunities are available to Head Start grantees and delegate agencies based on the following criteria:
PLEASE NOTE: There is no registration fee to attend the NRS Training.
Three training sessions are scheduled in the Western, Eastern, and Central United States as follows:
| Los Angeles, California | Monday to Wednesday, July 24–26, 2006 CLOSED |
| Atlanta, Georgia | Monday to Wednesday, July 31–Aug. 2, 2006 CLOSED |
| Kansas City, Missouri | Monday to Wednesday, Aug. 7–9, 2006 |
American Indian-Alaska Native, and Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs are encouraged to register for the training session that allows for the easiest and most economical travel.

Hotel information will be provided upon confirmation of acceptance of registration. Participants are expected to make hotel and travel arrangements only upon receiving NRS Training registration confirmation.
PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the ACF policies, participants will be expected to cover their meal expenses during the training period. Given this, there is no registration fee required from participants.
