Fellows Programs
     Opportunities for extended training and professional development are afforded through the National Fellows program. Background information on the National Fellows includes the regulations that guide the program 45 CFR 1311 (Head Start Bureau); and the list of the 2005-2006 National Head Start Fellows.
     The 2006-2007 National Head Start Fellowships brochure [pdf] describes the program, the work assignment, the opportunities for leadership development, the selection criteria, and the application calendar and procedure.
     Individuals who are working in the field of child development and family services are encouraged to apply. There are no restrictions on age, race, sex, creed, national origin, nor any physical requirements.
